From the Ground Up nurtures varying atmospheres and experiences throughout all spaces within the building. The concept of the ground is central to this project, with the playful, undulating landscape rising to form elegant ribbons of roof and rammed earth pods. The complex level changes throughout the building offer diverse routes and journeys for users, travelling between the pods' upper deck, oscillating landscape, and roof shells, making it an integral part of the user experience.
This friendly neighbourhood public house and changing room complex wraps around the adjacent football pitch and is crafted to create an immersive atmosphere. Specific views of the field are framed throughout one’s journey through the space, and sounds of the game are channelled to stir excitement.

A series of four long sections: rendered, line, game day, and non-game day versions, reflecting the varying qualities of the space.
The pod decks allow users to ‘live in’ the structure, experiencing the plethora of level changes and journeys through the building and out towards the football pitch.
