Welcome to The Bartlett Summer Show 2024, an exhibition showcasing the dynamic, radical and innovative work of undergraduate and postgraduate students at The Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL. Here, you will discover creative, innovative and thought-provoking projects that delve into what architecture is and what it could be.
Over 900 students from five of The Bartlett's architecture programmes are exhibiting projects. These explore a diverse range of themes including ecology, sustainability, spatial equity and the social potential of architecture. These inspiring projects are presented in the form of models, drawings, films, multimedia projects, immersive environments and digital fabrications.
This year the show takes an expanded dual format, with work displayed across all seven floors of our Bloomsbury home and here in our digital exhibition space. As you make your way through the show, in person and online, expect to see an exciting array of student work that encourages a thoughtful dialogue about the future of architecture and its role in shaping the world we live in.
This year’s show includes a memorial to Professor Jonathan Hill, a beloved member of The Bartlett community who led the Architecture MArch Unit 12 for 33 years.
