The Anatomy of Propaganda addresses the fight against misinformation, aiming to create unbiased, free media.

Located in Ghent, Belgium, the project retrofits an old meat market building into a printing hall, fostering independent media. The building's long, narrow layout, typical of traditional printing halls, symbolises the steadfast pursuit of truth in journalism. The design transforms the structure into a vibrant hub for education and media production, honouring the historical context of printing while integrating modern functionality.

An extension to the printing hall hosts a museum of propaganda and a school of journalism. The project also proposes a network of live/work units for journalists hidden around the city. Connections to the canal, allow articles to be transported by boat while maintaining anonymity. The suspended printing machine, visible to museum visitors, serves as a manifesto of transparency. Journalists remain anonymous to prevent leaks and undue influence. Newspapers are delivered through secret passages by the canal, and journalists access restricted areas via hidden routes, delivering on the project's goal of preserving truthful and independent media.
